It should come as no surprise that I don’t usually back away from a songwriting challenge. In a search for new & unexpected challenges I’ve decided to open up a new channel giving anyone the opportunity to suggest what kind of songs I should be writing.

It’s up to you to pick what you’re going to suggest (from subject matter to style and all points in between) and it’s up to me to choose if I’ll accept the challenge, but if your idea gets the wheels turning the outcome could be pretty cool.

What’s in it for you

1. You’ll get an advance copy of the MP3 before it goes online.
    
2. When the tune is finished, I’ll give you full credit for the inspiration on the song’s release page. This will include your name, a brief write-up & a link to any website you might like to plug.
    
3. When the tune makes it onto an album, you’ll get your name & a great big thanks listed in the liner notes.
    
4. You’ll also get a free, signed copy of the CD.
    
5. You’ll also get bragging rights. Weird & strange bragging rights, but bragging rights nonetheless.
