Life’s been crazy busy, so without further ado, here’s last week’s video demo a few days after the fact. I finished it & posted it on time, I just didn’t have a chance to blog it.

This one’s highly influenced by my son’s recent obsession with superheroes. He discovered Batman a few months ago and it was a life altering experience to say the least. So, in the interests of being able to communicate with my own flesh & blood I’ve taken it upon myself to learn far way more comic book trivia than one would ever need to know.

Needless to say, there was a song in there.

So here are the lyrics:

I’ll be the Green Lantern named John Stewart
When he had facial hair
Not to be confused with the host of The Daily Show
And you can be Wonder Woman
Diana, Princess of Themyscira
With your lasso of truth I’ll tell you all I know

If you take me for a ride
In your invisible plane
I’ll show you what my ring can do
I know it sounds insane

But we’re comic geeks in love
Comic geeks in love
Sweet justice from above
Comic geeks in love

Sunday mornings you can tell me
How they ruin everything
They can get their little hands on in Hollywood
Making Rogue a goody two-shoes
That’s enough to make any true fan
Sing the blues

Well you can take my heart
Put it in a protective plastic sleeve
And file it away with your Fantastic Four collection
If you say I’ll be your Thing forevermore and a day
You’ll be the recipient of my undying affection

If you take me for a ride
In your invisible plane
I’ll show you what my ring can do
I know it sounds insane

But we’re comic geeks in love
Comic geeks in love
Sweet justice from above
Comic geeks in love

More to come this week. I’m even rehearsing this time, so hopefully it’ll be more enjoyable for all involved.
